Youth Resources and Information
Youth Ride Free
Taking transit is free for people 18 and under thanks to Move Ahead Washington, a transportation funding package for the entire state. This means free rides to get to school, meet up with friends, get to work, and go shopping without having to worry about the cost of transportation. Move Ahead Washington aims to encourage more young people to use public transportation, reduce traffic congestion, and promote a cleaner environment. Not only is it a cost-effective option, but it also allows young people to gain independence and learn valuable life skills such as navigating public transportation systems. By taking advantage of this opportunity, young people can save money, reduce their carbon footprint, and have the freedom to explore their city or town with ease. So, if you're 18 or under, why not take advantage of this great opportunity and start using public transportation today!
