Ride in the Rain (November)

Graphic of two people riding their bikes with a graphic of clouds and rain drops overlaid.

Those who ride their bikes for commutes, personal trips or even exercise trips shouldn't be discouraged by the darker, colder weather this fall. Fall riding is often the best time to ride as you can witness the leaves change close-up, take in the crisp air, maintain your body heat as the air cools you down, and add some adventure to your daily routine by riding through the rain.

Be ready for some fall-season riding by enhancing your riding kit! November 1-12, you can order a free safety item from Ride Together Pierce such as a zip-up safety vest, reflective spoke covers, gloves and reflective stickers. Mailings will take place November 13.

This program is intended to serve those who live in Pierce County. To ensure program sustainability, we will be limiting mailings to one safety item per household. Duplicate orders will be voided. Every order will receive an assortment of waterproof reflective stickers. There is a limited supply of items, orders will be filled while supplies last.

Request your free bicycle safety item by creating an account on or logging into the trip calendar, and going to the "Rewards" section.

* The reward will only be visible and available November 1-12.

You can view the safety items here. The safety vest and gloves are One Size Fits Most:
